Meeting of the Energy and Managing Authorities Network

The Energy and Managing Authorities (EMA) Network brings together representatives of national energy authorities with representatives of Cohesion Policy Managing Authorities dealing with energy. It aims to help EU countries make the best possible use of Cohesion Policy funding to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart energy infrastructure, as well as energy-related research and innovation.

Cohesion Policy funding amounts to almost €30 billion for the 2014 – 2020 period – more than double the amount spent during the 2007-2013 period – thus making an important contribution to the Energy Union.

Meeting twice a year, the network acts as an informal platform to exchange information, share good practices, experiences and latest developments. Working groups will also be convened to work on specific issues, where needed and relevant.
