Energy Communities: Avoiding Challenges and Harvesting Opportunities

As you know, energy communities took on a prominent place in the EU’s recently finalized Clean Energy Package (CEP) and will no doubt play an important role in tomorrow’s energy scene. While the concept may seem simple, various forms of communities are scattered throughout the CEP and the complexity of their structure (both legal and technical) as well as their far reaching impact on the energy market as we know it make the concept more difficult to grasp than might be expected at first glance.

To help you unscramble this intricate new concept, and make sure you are aware and can take full advantage of the challenges but also opportunities that will arise, we will be organizing a full-day seminar dedicated exclusively to energy communities.

We will be covering topics such as the regulators’ perspective, the impact on DSOs, the legal and technical structure and challenges, the EC’s point of view, new (and not always immediately apparent) opportunities for businesses, ensuring an inclusive roll-out to avoid causing further social inequalities, etc.
